Who are we?
Rancho Amalia is a Costa Rican family owned business focusing on eco- tourism. Guided horseback riding tours are offered, which take you throughout the family coffee “finca” and close to the national protected area “El Chayote”. The horseback tours travels through forests, slopping pastures and rivers. The trip also offers spectacular views of the Valle Central and the Gulf of Nicoya. Rancho Amalia also offers banquette and restaurant service for special events with complete dining services.
Location
We are located in the Alajuela Province close to the community of Zarcero between San Carlos and Sarchi, which is noted for its rich cultural tradition.
Services
Our principal activity is horseback riding services in our coffee finca with its forests, winding trails, and rivers. We also offer dining facilities for special events such as wedding receptions and family gatherings.
